Baitadi’s District Administration Office prohibited public vehicles across the district from 6 am Saturday until 6 am Sunday, while Darchula officials urged operators and the public to keep both public and private vehicles off roads. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority identified both districts as at risk, with Darchula listed as “very high risk.”
